MIDRANGER
The
MIDRANGER
Band is one of Evansville's most crowd pleasing Country / Rock Bands, with a
very unique style of their own. Their music is applauded by many different
tastes in music. Types include top 40 country from easy rock style to that
ballad that makes you want to show your woman off out on the dance floor. Then
on the flip side, you can get down with John Adcock's screamin' southern rock
guitar sounds.
The
MIDRANGER
Band has many talents including two, and three-part harmony that will excite
everyone. Along with their show don't miss their antics on stage, with Mike
Myers and Mike Knowles making a grin appear on everyone's face.
MIDRANGER
will celebrate its 18th year in August 2008 continuing its long-term commitment
to the entertainment industry. Each of
MIDRANGER 's
members has a long history of music in their blood, which shows in their
performance.
The manager and lead vocalist of the band is
Mike Myers,
listen to his mellow sounds that ring from his Fender Stratocaster. He has
instilled his sense of rhythm and harmonies into each of the members, creating a
very unique blend.
John Adcock's
many years of playing lead guitar out on the road around the southern states has
created that southern rock style that is heard in his lead parts. Don't miss his
classic Fender sounds that keep bringing people back, night after night!
Holding down the bottom end is
Mike Knowles,
with his solid bass lines that keep those toes tapping. Mike's unique Carvin
five string bass guitar has a low B string on it that hits those low notes that
rattle the jars in the basement!
James Greenwell
is the youngest member of the band, and he is a left handed drummer (Wow!) he
just keeps that steady beat going, and going, and going. With his talent on the
drums one wonders where this guy gets all his energy. (Must be the long hair?).
