The Midranger Band has cut there first

 

Finally!!! The very first Midranger Band CD has been released. It has 6 songs on it with two of them written by our very own Mike Myers. They are Down on Bended Knee, and Same Old Story. The other four are cover songs, You Don't Even Call Me By My Name by David Allan Coe, Fire on the Mountain by The Marshall Tucker Band, The Dance by Garth Brooks, and Two Tickets To Paradise by Eddie Money. This all started by Mike's son always wanted a good recording of his Dad's songs, so he had actually set up the time and recording studio for us to record his Dad's songs. We had some time left so we were able to throw a few cover tunes in to fill up the CD. We don't expect any of this to make it to the radio stations although that would be pretty cool, but we sure had a lot of fun and gained some experience. So we have been kicking around the idea of making another CD with maybe another Midranger original and a whole lot of cover tunes that we do. 

 

 

 

Well those of you that have gotten our Newsletter for a long time have heard us talk several several times about doing a recording session. We just kept putting it off and putting it off. Well finially we have done it, yes you read this right, the Midranger Band has cut there first CD. The band is really excited about it and hope you guys will be also. We really had a lot of fun at the recording studio, the recording is done but they have not gone into production yet. Thats all the info at this time so stay tuned for more information
